When performing drills, practicing skills, or executing bottle rotations or other crucial activities underwater, you may need to remove your primary regulator and switch to a backup or stage regulator. When this happens, you should always stow your primary away on your chest D-ring. This will prevent your primary from being lost, dragging against the environment, or getting tangled somewhere. This video briefly shows easy-to-practice techniques for clipping and unclipping your primary regulator to your chest D-ring.
